Brand Collaborations

We have been honoured to work on the below bespoke projects (and many more).

  • Babohi Lodge is focused on the water element as part of their guest experience. Our blue vessels are an extension of the theme with deep cobalt hues. Using an experimental method, we were able to create layers within the blue glazes giving it additional dimension.

  • Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa has water carafes in three 3 different sizes for various applications - 250ml, 500ml and 1l. The terracotta pairs beautifully with the surrounds. Kilnhouse developed a system for the branding detail to be applied over a complex surface (vertical and horizontal curving).

  • Kilnhouse worked in collaboration with HesseKleinloog Studios to create unique vessels for the interior of Train on Bridge as well as the TOB restaurant. Bespoke hand-pinched salt and pepper pots were made to resemble stones whilst soap holders resemble mountain ranges with their stark spines coloured with smokey white and black detailing.

  • In collab with Oniro Studios, Kilnhouse developed a range of large vessels for the living spaces of the hotel, each vessel made to suit the specific aesthetic of the room it inhabits. Tall vessels hold strings of pearls in the dining area, painterly pots create fun in the gym and zig zagged planters hold the many plants in the reception area.
